About Us

Who we are

Welcome to ChristAlive Church, where the transforming power of the cross is preached and experienced through the dynamic presence of the Holy Spirit. As a New Testament patterned church, we embrace both the doctrinal richness of God’s Word and the dynamic presence of His Spirit.
Our community is deeply captivated by only one message: Christ! It is Jesus Christ crucified for our sins and raised for our justification, and by whom we live, and move and have our being.

When you step through our doors, you won’t just hear Christ preached and taught in every message, regardless of the subject. But you will also behold Him as the resurrected living Lord and King of His church, actively building, superintending, governing, feeding, sanctifying, guiding, healing, delivering, encouraging, comforting, leading, and equipping His people today. The same Jesus who hung on Calvary’s cross continues to pour out His Spirit on all who hunger Him.
Our story began in the heart of the Father in eternity; was fractured in Eden where our sin separated us in Adam but reconciled in Christ at the cross where He gave up His life to pay for our debt and purchase our freedom. Our story continues daily in Him through His new community of people by the Holy Ghost. Christ continues to work in and through us, equipped with supernatural gifts to serve in the church and the world.

As a community of God’s people thoroughly anchored on the Holy Scriptures, we understand that the church Jesus is building must reflect His character—thoroughly gospel-centered in message, doctrinal in foundation, charismatic in expression, intentional in discipleship, and missional in purpose.
Whether you’re exploring faith for the first time, have walked with Jesus for decades, or are somewhere in between; the cross has the power to transform your story, and the Spirit has gifts to empower your journey.

Where are you on your spiritual journey?

Are you searching for answers about God, salvation, or meaning? We’ll help you discover the life-changing truth of the gospel and walk you through the vista of the Holy Scripture to see how it all comes down to the Glory of God in Christ.
If you are a new believer, wandering in confusion, we will guide you through the foundations of the faith; you will experience the glory of the new life in Christ through the dynamic power of the Holy Spirit. If you wish to go deeper, we will guide you to be solidly grounded in your faith with deep roots in sound doctrine; you will live in the fullness of the Spirit, using your spiritual gifts to serve joyfully. Faith does not have to be boring, and you don’t have to experience some so-called spiritual dryness with time. In fact, you can experience fresh fire every day as you feed on God’s word and grow through spirit-filled sermons that put the Glory of Christ on display as revealed in the Scriptures, worship, community, discipleship, spiritual formation and missions.

Our Message: Christ!

In a world of complex philosophies and endless self-improvement programs, we proclaim one message: Christ crucified. This message isn’t merely one truth among many truths: rather, it’s the central, defining reality of human history and personal salvation.

At ChristAlive Church, we believe Jesus Christ stands at the very center of God’s redemptive plan. Through His sacrificial death on the cross, He paid the penalty for our sins, broke the power of Satan, destroyed the curse of the law, and opened the way for all people to be reconciled to God. “For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God” (1 Corinthians 1:18).

We don’t apologize for this narrow focus. We’ve discovered that the cross isn’t narrowing but infinitely expansive—addressing humanity’s deepest needs and revealing God’s most profound wisdom. Thus, through the cross, Jesus reveals:

  1. God’s holiness and justice that required payment for sin.
  2. God’s love and mercy that provided the payment Himself.
  3. God’s wisdom in defeating evil through apparent weakness.
  4. God’s power to transform lives through forgiveness and grace.

This gospel message creates a dividing line through human history and personal experience. Before the cross, we stand condemned by our sin. After receiving Christ’s sacrifice through faith, we stand justified, declared righteous in God’s sight. But the cross isn’t the end of the story. It leads to the empty tomb, where Christ’s resurrection vindicates His sacrifice and guarantees our own future resurrection. It continues to Pentecost, where the ascended Christ pours out His Spirit upon His church, empowering us to proclaim and demonstrate this gospel through supernatural gifts and miraculous signs.

When we say, “Christ is our message,” we mean the full Christ—crucified for our sins, risen for our justification, ascended to the Father’s right hand, and coming again in glory. We proclaim His finished work on the cross and His ongoing work through the Spirit, both essential elements of the complete gospel. This message isn’t merely information to understand but good news to receive through repentance and faith. When embraced, it transforms everything: bringing forgiveness for the past, power for the present, and hope for the future.

Have you personally experienced the power of the cross? Have you moved from knowing about Jesus to knowing Him as Savior, Lord and King? The invitation of the gospel remains open: turn from sin, trust in Christ’s sacrifice on your behalf, and receive new life through His Spirit.

Our Vision: Revealing Jesus in All His Glory

What drives everything we do at ChristAlive Church? One compelling vision: Revealing Jesus in all His Glory.

We exist to Christ visible, beautiful and known in every sphere of life intellectual, social and cultural. It is all of Jesus, for all of life, for all the world. This vision flows directly from Jesus’ prayer in John 17:24: “Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory.” This glory wasn’t just for a heavenly future experience but begins now as believers “behold the glory of the Lord” and are “transformed into the same image from glory to glory” (2 Corinthians 3:18).

Jesus Christ reveals God’s glory in its fullest measure. Hebrews 1:3 declares Him “the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being.” At Calvary, we see divine glory displayed not in blinding light but in sacrificial love. In the resurrection, we witness glory expressed through life-giving power. At Pentecost, we observe glory poured out through the Spirit’s gifts and manifestations.

Our vision embraces this multi-faceted glory: The glory of the cross—where God’s justice and mercy meet in perfect harmony. The glory of the resurrection—where death is defeated and new life emerges. The glory of Pentecost—where divine power equips ordinary believers for extraordinary service. The glory of Christ’s return—where all creation will be restored under His righteous rule.

This vision shapes everything:

Our services at ChristAlive Church are designed to exalt His glory without well-intended but sometimes cumbersome distractions, so His people directly experience Him through Spirit-enabled worship, prophetic ministry, and transformative sound teaching. Our discipleship focuses not on behavior modification but on glory-to-glory transformation as believers learn to behold Christ through Scripture, prayer, and Spirit-led community.

Our evangelism proclaims not only a plan of salvation but introduces people to the glorious Person of Jesus who saves, sanctifies, Spirit-baptizes, heals, delivers, and whose return is etched in the skies of forever, drawing ever closer.

Our compassion ministries demonstrate the glory of Christ’s love through practical service alongside prayer and the ministries of the saints.

As we behold Christ’s glory together, something miraculous happens; we are transformed into His glorious likeness. Slowly but surely, we begin to reflect what we see in character, outlook, ministry and vocation. “And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory” (2 Corinthians 3:18).

This isn’t merely spiritual theory. We regularly witness the transforming impact of Christ’s glory: addictions broken through the power of the cross, physical healing through the power of the resurrection, and supernatural giftings through the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

Our vision isn’t to build our own kingdom or reputation but to proclaim Jesus so completely that His glory becomes undeniably visible in our community and beyond. As Jesus promised, “When I am lifted up from the earth, I will draw all people to myself” (John 12:32). We invite you to join us in this glory-revealing mission—not as spectators but as participants in the greatest story ever told.

Our Mission: Equipping Spirit-Filled Disciples

Our mission flows naturally from our message and vision: making disciples, who make disciples—disciples who reflect the full glory of Jesus in their lives, ministries, and vocations—and to plant healthy, autonomous yet interdependent local churches that are self-supporting, self-propagating, and self-governing.

This mission embraces two complementary dimensions:

First, we equip Spirit-filled disciples who reflect Christ’s glory in every sphere of life.

Biblical discipleship isn’t about creating religious rule-followers but developing Spirit-empowered believers who embody the character and power of Jesus. Jesus promised His followers would do “even greater works” through the power of His Spirit (John 14:12), and we take this promise seriously.

We believe every Christian is called to be:

  1. Filled with the Spirit—Experiencing the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues and operating in spiritual gifts.
  2. Transformed in character—Growing in the fruit of the Spirit through progressive sanctification.
  3. Equipped for ministry—Discovering and exercising supernatural gifts to build up the church.
  4. Missional in focus—Extending Christ’s kingdom through evangelism, compassion, and Spirit-led witness.

This equipment happens through intentional pathways:

  1. Salvation—Responding to the gospel through repentance and faith.
  2. Water Baptism—Publicly identifying with Christ’s death and resurrection.
  3. Spirit Baptism—Receiving supernatural empowerment for witness and service.
  4. Discipleship—Growing through Bible study, community, and spiritual disciplines.
  5. Deployment—Using spiritual gifts in practical ministry contexts in the church and the world.

Second, we plant healthy local churches that multiply this discipleship mission.

Following the New Testament, apostolic pattern, we believe healthy churches reproduce by planting new congregations locally and globally. These churches follow the New Testament model of being:

  1. Self-supporting—practicing biblical stewardship without dependency on external funding.
  2. Self-propagating—actively evangelizing their communities and reproducing through church planting.
  3. Self-governing—led by qualified, Spirit-filled leaders raised from within the congregation.

Our mission extends from our local community to the nations, with special focus on unreached people groups where Christ remains unknown. While we support our members who believe they are call to fulfil their missionaries assignments abroad, we rather emphasize every believer’s missionary calling in their workplace, neighborhood, and spheres of influence.

This mission isn’t optional or secondary, but the very reason Christ established His church. Before ascending, Jesus commissioned His followers: “You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth” (Acts 1:8). This remains our charge today.

Will you join us in this Spirit-empowered mission? Whether through growing in personal evangelism, supporting church planting, or directly engaging in cross-cultural missions, espoused in incarnational missions, everyone has a vital role to play.
